The Aquino brothers were already experienced general contractors when they struck out on their own in 1986. The company they founded, Aquicon, started small, building schools while they developed strong relationships among the sub-trades and earned a reputation for excellence.
Aquicon has grown exponentially since those early days, and now serves an array of sectors including recreation centres, multi-storey residential facilities, operation centres and post-secondary institutions. Our structure has evolved into a single-ownership business, but the Aquino family remains at its head. While the scale of our average project has soared, we have made it a point of pride to retain the same hands-on approach from our earliest days to the present. Every single project, regardless of size, continues to benefit from the direct involvement of our most senior people. Every build is treated as high-priority, and every client receives the full advantage of decades of technical knowledge and practical experience.
