JOB TITLE

DESCRIPTION

LEED Coordinator

Aquicon Construction is currently looking for a qualified LEED Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. Based out of Aquicon’s Brampton head office, the incumbent will work closely with the project staff to efficiently manage the project’s LEED documentation, submittals, reviews, and management processes. This will require extensive communication with the project team members and external consulting engineers, sub-trades and suppliers.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure the preparation of LEED related reports to be submitted as per the contact documents;
• Ensures accurate LEED submissions and review from the subcontractors;
• Coordinates all construction related LEED credits and ensure adherence to quality throughout the entirety of each project;
• Review Contractor submissions for conformance with the Contract Documents prior to sending for technical review by the Consulting Engineer;
• Track, monitor and expedite submittals to ensure they are reviewed and returned within the specified times;
• Assist the Project Manager with preparation of minutes of meeting, various reports, tracking of outstanding RFIs, Change Orders, Site Safety Reports etc.;
• Efficiently manage the Contract Submittals process;
• Develop the operations and maintenance manuals and provide close-out documentation to the Client as the project comes to an end;
• Other duties as requested;

Qualifications:
• Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation from the CaGBC
• Knowledge of construction principles, practices and techniques;
• Knowledge of construction methods and processes (equipment, techniques, materials, standards);
• Strong organizational, administrative, analytical and problem solving abilities;
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
• Proven team player with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adhere to strict deadlines;
• Coordination experience within the construction industry or similar is considered an asset;
• Software experience with Jonas considered an asset;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;

Assistant Site Superintendent

Passion for construction and past project experience are a must-have. Candidates with ICI project-experience will be given preference.
