Aquicon achieves COR™ Certification
Aquicon is proud to announce that, as of December 2016, we are officially a COR™ certified general contractor. This is an important milestone for any construction company, and affirms Aquicon’s commitment to providing safe sites and workplaces.
“For me COR is really a measurement of your company’s commitment to safety on your sites and within your company. It’s about a group of individuals coming together to form a common goal to ensure that every individual that works with or for our company will go home that night as they arrived that morning.”
– Aquicon President Daniel Aquino.
COR™ is a certification issued by the Canadian Infrastructure Health & Safety Association (IHSA) that recognises excellence in health and safety management. COR™ certification is the end point of a multi-stage process that includes training, auditing and implementation that takes up to 18 months to complete.
Responsible health, safety and environmental management is a vitally important part of Aquicon’s approach to construction. We operate a specialised team who create and enforce our health, safety and environment policies, and ensure we meet or exceed all legal requirements. Our new COR™certified status is a testament to the value of their fine work.
