This project involved the construction of a new 2 storey, 38,400 square foot police station consisting of a short term detention facility, two floors of office space, and meeting rooms. The No. 3 District facility in Burlington represents a new standard for the Halton Regional Police Service. Sited in a residential neighbourhood, the new police facility was constructed to integrate seamlessly with its surroundings.
“Aquicon produced first class workmanship and delivered a quality product on time and on budget, while making every effort to keep us well informed and advised throughout the process.”
Keith Moore, Senior Planner, Halton Regional Police Service
The new facility houses an initial complement of 185 staff, both uniform and civilian, with the flexibility to accommodate future anticipated growth up to the year 2026.
