Sitting on a 1.5-acre parcel of land, construction on the new Milton Paramedic Services Station No. 17 and Fire Station No. 5 includes a single storey building with a mezzanine and a total GFA of 13,400 sf.

 

The Paramedic Services Station provides accommodation for crew as well as a drive-through apparatus bay for emergency vehicles. The Fire Station also provides accommodation for crew as well as fire-fighting equipment storage, general maintenance and storage, office spaces, a fitness room, entry vestibules, a hose tower, a drive-through apparatus bay for fire trucks, and a multi-purpose room for conducting public education, staff training and emergency operation services.
