This project involved the construction of a new 18,000 square foot library at the south side of the Scarborough Civic Centre facing Borough Drive. The one-of-a-kind facility features a glu-lam timber structural system and green roofs. Construction on site included alterations to the existing surrounding driveways, pedestrian surfaces and landscape including some minor alterations to the south entrance of the Civic Centre.
“Aquicon’s management and staff were capable, organized, and dedicated to the success of the project. The result was a high quality facility which continues to receive praise from all parties.”
